Autumn 1: A visit to the Chiltern Open Air Museum for a Goodnight Mr Tom Day. During the day, the children will learn about air raids, schooling during WW2 and visit Mr Tom's House and a replica of a Prefab House that was built during WW2. This visit supports the children's learning in their Creative Curriculum Lessons and English Lessons.
Autumn 2: A visit to Burnham Beeches to gain an understanding of how it was used in WW2.
Spring 1 and 2: Multiple visits to The Community Orchard, The Dell, The Forest at the Infant School and Burnham Beeches. These visits form part of our Science and English lessons.
Summer 2: Year 6 Residential to River Dart.
