‘Together Taking Learning Above and Beyond’

Pupil Premium

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

Pupil Premium is money which publicly funded schools can claim from the government, in order to help us offer the best opportunities we can to children.

Schools can claim up to £1385 each year, per child, to raise achievement.   This funding can help pay for extra support in class, group work and interventions, resources like books or specialist equipment, uniform or paying for visits and clubs.

School receives the money for every child eligible for free school meals at any point in the last six years and stays with them for at least this length of time, even if family circumstances change.

Schools are rigorously monitored to make sure that we spend money effectively to enable children to make the best progress possible.   Full details of how we have spent our 'Pupil Premium' funding is in the documents below.

This invaluable funding for school is used to improve outcomes for children and could make a real difference to what we can provide towards your child's educational progress.

All you need to do is let us know if you qualify and we will do the rest; just fill out the form below and let us apply on your behalf!

Please note, universal free school meals only apply up to Year 2 so it is worth applying now to make sure your child receives their free school meals when they enter Year 3 if they are eligible.

Please see Mrs Holder in the office at the Infant School or Mrs Bailey in the office at the Junior School.
