Welcome to this weeks bulletin, hope you have all had a good week!

Bikeability

Bikeability starts on Monday 28th September at the junior school. For children in years 5 & 6, that have signed up, they must bring their bikes, helmets etc in on Monday. These children will also be able to wear their PE kits for the 4 day course. Unfortunately, the course is fully booked and has a waiting list.

Children in years 3 & 4 are to bring their bikes / helmets in on Friday 2nd October. This course is also fully booked.

Farnhams Orchard Day

Both our Choir and Cheerleaders will be performing at this event on Saturday 26th September. The event is on from 12n - 4pm. If you have not been before, I can highly recommend it! Plenty of food and drink stalls, crafts and gifts, activities and entertainment including a dog show. FCVS also has a stall run by Mr Masters and pupils. It is going to be a sunny day so please try and come along.

Parent Consultations

Parent Consultations will take place 20th - 22nd October. Please can I ask that you log onto Arbor and make sure that your contact details are up-to-date, especially your email address. Further details will be sent out in due course.

Pret-a-Portrait

Will be attending both schools on 19th October. Siblings will be able to have their photographs taken together. Further details will be sent out nearer the time.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Farnham Common Village Schools are hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Wednesday 30th September. This will be held at the Infant School from 9am. We hope to see both Infant and Junior School parents at this event. We would be very grateful for donations of cakes to be dropped to the Infant School on Tuesday 29th or Wednesday 30th.

Fencing Plea

We are looking for a little help from our school community and beyond. Our wooden fences around the school grounds / playground are looking really sorry for themselves and are desperately in need of replacing. We are hoping that one of our parents may have a contact or recommendation for someone in the fencing trade. If you have a connection to a reputable fencing company, that may be able to help us, we would be extremely grateful if you could get in touch.
